POOL

The Adelaide Rockford boasts a spectacular rooftop pool for guests to enjoy daily from 6.00am until 10.00pm. For access please scan your key in the elevator then select 'level 5'.

FITNESS

Our hotel has partnered with the nearby UNI SA City West campus to offer guests complimentary access to their fully equipped, state-of-the-art fitness facilities, a short 500-metre walk down Hindley street. For access please collect a gym pass from reception and a towel for any equipment used. For opening hours, including public holidays, please see here.

DRY CLEANING

Same-day and express services are available. Please complete your docket and laundry bag, which are both stored in your wardrobe. Bring to Reception prior to 8:00am to ensure same-day delivery. Please note Dry Cleaning is not available on Sundays or Public holidays.

EMERGENCY SERVICES

The emergency service number within Australia is '000' which can be dialed at any time from any telephone free of charge. Emergency services include local police, ambulance and medical responders, and the local fire department.

We have made the decision to transition into a totally cashless property. All major debit and credit cards are accepted for your convenience. Please note a 1.1% surcharge applies on credit card transactions. 

AIR CONDITIONING

The air conditioning in your room has been set for your comfort. If you wish to make adjustments, please use the controller situated beneath the TV or the panel adjacent to your entrance door. Ensure a room key is inserted in the card slot beside the door to operate. For any assistance, please ask our Reception team.

ELECTRIC CURRENT

Australia operates on a 240-volt 50-cycle alternating current. Should you require international adapters can be purchased in Rundle Mall, a short walk from the hotel.

EMERGENCY EVACUATION

All guest rooms are fitted with smoke detectors which are linked to the main fire control panel. At the ends of the corridors, you will find break glass alarms. Fire hose reels are located adjacent to the lift access doors. Fire extinguishers are located in both fire exit stairwells. The break glass alarms are directly linked to the Adelaide Fire Brigade. Please familiarise yourself with your nearest exit and evacuation area by checking on the diagram on the back of your door. In the unlikely event an evacuation is necessary, do not use the lifts, use exit stairs only.

It is important to know the layout of your room because you may have to stay in your room if smoke in the corridor cuts out your escape. Check the assembly point on the back of your door. Keep your room key card near you in case you need to access it quickly and safely. If you detect a fire in your room, please dial 900 immediately. Only try to put out a fire if you are sure you can handle it. If in doubt, leave your room, and close the door. In the event\ of an evacuation, listen to instructions given over the PA system. Above all, don't panic.

If in your room, there is smoke, stay low and only feel the door with the back of your hand to detect heat. Check corridor is clear and if so, walk calmly along the walls of the corridor to your nearest exit. Exit stairwells are located at the end of each side of each corridor. Do not use the lift as this may take you to a floor with smoke or flames.

If you are unable to leave your room, some hints to help include soaking towels and sheets and putting them at the bottom of your door cracks. If smoke becomes unbearable, you may be forced to make the best exit. If your room has a balcony, open the door if clear, step outside and close the sliding door immediately and await assistance. The Assembly Point is behind the hotel, northside at the Jam Factory building entrance.
