Nigel Khoo
Born in Penang, the culinary capital of Malaysia I was brought up in an environment where food played a major role in our everyday lives... My early childhood memories are of my dad planning holidays solely around food. ‘pilgrimages’ would occur at least 3 times a year and over time have evolved into a wonderful family tradition.
Classically trained in French cookery, over the years I’ve worked mostly in European restaurants and developed a passion for all things culinary, drawing inspiration from my childhood memories, books, sharing experiences with other chefs as well as immersion in varied cultural backgrounds.
Creative cooking is in my DNA, it comes as no surprise I would choose a career path where I am able to translate my love affair with food from the kitchen to the plate.
