16th Nov - Lighting of the Christmas Tree
It's officially the start of the festive season when the Victoria Square Christmas Tree is lit. There will be live music, carols, face painting and lots of kid’s activities from 5pm with the official lighting of the tree at 8.30pm
06th - 24th Dec - Santa’s Wonderland
Christmas comes alive at the Adelaide showgrounds. This is a great event for the kids and the ticket price includes rides, Christmas crafts, ice skating, stage shows and lots more.
07th Dec - Carols by Candlelight
SA’s largest Christmas concert returns to Elder Park. The day kicks off at 2pm with festive food, drinks and family fun activities. Pre show entertainment starts at 5pm and the concert commences at 8pm.
13th Dec – 22nd Dec – Christmas Lights, Festive Nights
10 evenings of festive entertainment in the lead up to Christmas - face painting, crafts, live music, food trucks and the lighting of the X’mas tree 8.30pm daily. Plus a Santa’s sleigh you can sit in that’s made up of 130,000 Lego bricks
13th – 15th Dec - Christkindlmarkt
This European-style Christmas market based in the German town of Hahndorf will be a festive weekend filled with entertainment, stalls, food & much more.
15th Dec – Twilight Christmas Carols
This free community event is held at Morphettville Race Course with an orchestra performing favourites Christmas songs and entertainment for all the family
