Adelaide is known as the festival city for good reason – the city comes alive with annual events such as Adelaide Cabaret Festival, Fringe Festival, Festival of the Arts, OzAsia and many more. Adelaide also hosts annual sporting events, including Clipsal 500 and Tour Down Under. The iconic Adelaide Oval is host to both Adelaide AFL teams – Port Adelaide and Adelaide Crows. And for cricket fans, there are numerous matches for the Australia, Redbacks and Adelaide Strikers teams.     WOMADelaide returns to Botanic Park, Adelaide this March. The annual World Music and Dance festival features a variety of music, arts and dance.   A specific emphasis is placed on traditional music and performances of various cultures although some more contemporary, popular acts are included.
